This was our 21st annual exhibition, and features new work by 17 local artists, including a challenge featuring fibre art using only black, white and one colour. The show ran until May 3rd .
“Art Among the Ruins” large annual outdoor art show and sale set among picturesque ruins of a 19th century mill beside rapids of Napanee River.
This wonderful show has now run it’s course and closed after2019.
Sylvia was again invited to have her work in the show in 2018. She has demonstrated and had a special feature of her art since July 2013. This lovely fine art gallery is located 20 kilometres from the west gate of Algonquin Park.
Sylvia was a finalist in the Infinity Art Gallery Fiber Arts show 2014.
Annual International On-Line Quilt Art show 2013
Sylvia was invited to be a part of the Great Canadian Landscape Contest. Buckhorn Fine Art Festival 2013.
Sylvia had pieces of her art on high quality tiles in several different sizes with a mat or gloss finish.
My quilt ‘Summer Garden’ is one of 22 quilts chosen from Canada to be included in the special exhibit O, Canada 2013.
The quilt is coloured with a variety of transfer painting techniques with the addition of applique and free motion machine embroidery.
The exhibit, which will premiere at International Quilt Festival in Chicagowill travel to other major quilt venues during this year.
